Having read all that, it makes total sense. I can't even imagine how much work a single page takes, given the ungodly level of detail involved in each one. Due to my personal circumstances, Patreon and tabulit aren't really options but I'd like to send some money over Paypal as a thank you for all the strips you've posted - do you have an address?

I'm sorry the options offered aren't accessible to you. Is it because of your location?
I've had a couple of people say this in response, and I'd like to figure out a workaround for that.

Dear Mr. Rickheit,
Thanks for all your great work. You’ve been kind enough to sell me a couple of commissioned pieces in the past; would you consider doing that in the future as a form of financial support that also would allow seeing your online comics?

I'd be happy to buy a book of C & E. I've purchased the others and chased down a few of your comics. Oh, and I purchased a page (which I wish you'd've signed.) I'd buy the collected version even having read the www one.

fum stuff though. Sorry to see the web part go.

Sensible, Tune back in, and hopefully, I'll have some stuff here for people to sample.

Your reaction is understandable.

Let me point to a consideration which possibly has not occurred to you. I arrived today for the first time, having seen a link to this comic which made me want to have a quick glance to see whether it interested me. It is impossible for me to work that out, and I'm not going to subscribe or add you to the list of artists I support on Patreon just to find out.

So although you likely will, by this move, convert some of your current non-paying readers to paying readers, you might also make it very difficult to get NEW readers.

Perhaps leave the first dozen pages or so available? Or even a description?

I think Patreon and you have different opinions. On this page and on your Patreon page, you indicate we can donate $0.25 per comic and that the comics would be weekly. That would come out to $1.00 per month. The language for the donation implies enter an amount per week, but Patreon won't allow any amount less than $1.00. I am more than happy to donate $1.00 per month as I have been enjoying your work immensely for a long time. you might want to update your Patreon page to indicate $1.00 per month instead of $0.25 per week. Let us know.

As an added minor detail, since 4 months out of the year have 5 weeks instead of 4, if you're actually trying to get a minimum of $0.25 per week, when you factor that over a year, it averages out to 1 dollar and 8-1/3 cents per month. So you might want to ask for a monthly donation of $1.10 or $1.25. Either way is okay with me.

My apologies about the Patreon site. I am currently trying to resolve this. Some of the features of my Patreon page have malfunctioned. Patreon has acknowledged this and reassure me they'll fix it.
